This guarantees an optimally tuned system environment and saves time and money in the selection of the supplier and in the coordination of the project.
The integration of VULKAN Drive Tech portfolio creates a multiple added value for the customer: COUPLINGS, BRAKING SYSTEMS, BACKSTOPS, RAIL CLAMPS AND RESILIENT MOUNTS, are all available from a single source. Within the Mining industry, crushers, mills, separators and agitators are typical heavy duty machinery whose drives are characterized by shock loads and dynamic displacement of large masses with big inertias. Fluid Couplings for soft starting of the machinery, Gear Couplings for low speed shaft applications, Electrohydraulic Brakes and Mounts are typical products used for these applications. The Conveyors also require safety equipment, for these purposes either Backstops or Braking Systems must be properly selected to withstand the most critical working conditions. Motor starting torque, run back torque, conveyor stopping time and speed, are just a few mandatory variables to be considered regarding Couplings, Backstops and Braking System design, all part of our product portfolio.

Fail-safe and positive brake, available in either mono-spring or dual spring design. Can be customised with a wide range of accessories including brake status sensors, pads wearing sensor and 5 different types of hydraulic power packs to tune the proportional braking of the callipers. Its main Applications: service, parking and emergency brakes, requiring proportional braking or high braking torque values.
